Festival whisky releases

Several whisky festivals have their own bottlings. The best known is Fèis Ìle, the Islay Festival of Music and Malt, held each year at the end of May. Each Islay distillery has an open day during the festival and most release a festival bottling for it, usually in small numbers and often sold first at the distillery. The Campbeltown Malts Festival and the Spirit of Speyside festival have their own editions too, and some independent bottlers mark the festivals with releases of their own.

Festival bottlings tend to sell out at the distillery within days, so most reach UK retailers later and at higher prices. The bottles below are the festival releases we can currently price. We find them by name, so a festival bottling whose label doesn’t mention the festival won’t appear here.
